Villa Cassis Vent des Dames

The villa is a detached 160 m² property arranged around four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and three bathrooms. It accommodates up to eight people and has six beds in total. One bathroom includes a bath and a walk-in shower; the other bathrooms complete the house’s layout.

The kitchen brings together the equipment you need to prepare meals: a hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, utensils and electric kettle. Cassis is a small Mediterranean town in Bouches-du-Rhône, between the Calanques massif and the vineyards of the Cassis appellation. Its port, lined with houses with colourful façades, reflects the town’s close ties to the sea. You can stroll along the quays, head to the beaches and explore the limestone coves along the coast. The setting appeals to travellers looking to combine swimming, walks and a visit to a Provençal port.

Calanques National Park stretches along the coast south of the town. Port-Miou inlet, 550 m away, forms a long natural shelter where boats are moored; Port-Pin and its clear waters can be reached by continuing along the coastal path. The port and Grande Mer Beach also let you enjoy the seafront without going far from the centre. A car makes it easier to explore the area between Cassis, the Calanques and neighbouring towns. Cassis railway station is 4 km away, while Marseille-Provence Airport is 33 km away.

The fine weather from late spring to early autumn is well suited to swimming and exploring the Calanques on foot or by boat. In summer, it is best to plan outings early in the day, when the beaches and paths are quieter and the weather is cooler. In spring and September, temperatures remain pleasant for walking along the coast and exploring the centre’s narrow streets. You can spend a day visiting the port, walking to Port-Miou and returning to town to enjoy the coast at sunset.
