Villa en Provence

The villa has three bedrooms and can accommodate up to six people. The rooms are part of a 95 m² entire house, arranged around a living room and an equipped kitchen. The sleeping arrangements comprise two double beds and one large double bed; the private bathroom has both a bath and a shower. Air conditioning and a washing machine complete the indoor facilities.

The terrace opens onto the garden and also overlooks the private pool. The windows offer views of the pool and green spaces. For preparing meals, you will find an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is also a coffee machine and a dining table. The flat-screen TV offers cable channels and streaming services. This layout brings together the sleeping areas, living spaces and facilities in a single accommodation, with no rooms available separately.

The villa has a private outdoor pool, a garden and a furnished terrace with outdoor furniture and sun loungers. An outdoor dining area lets you eat in the garden. Indoors, air conditioning and heating serve the living spaces, while the kitchen has the equipment needed to prepare and share meals. A washing machine and dishwasher are also available.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa. Free private parking is available on site and does not require advance reservation. The detached house is on the ground floor; it has a flat-screen TV with cable channels and streaming services, as well as board games and puzzles. A high chair, kettle, toaster, oven and fridge complete the facilities. Pets are allowed at no extra charge. Check-in is between 17:00 and 20:00, and you must let the property know your arrival time in advance.

Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt is a village in Vaucluse, in the Luberon, between the Provençal hills and the mineral landscapes of the Monts de Vaucluse. Its narrow streets, stone houses and castle remains give the village an old-world character. The surrounding countryside alternates between orchards, vineyards, scrubland and ochre-coloured earth. The region lends itself to walks through villages, Provençal markets and outings on foot or by bike; a car makes it easier to get between sites.

The Mines de Bruoux, 4.1 km away, offer a chance to explore former galleries carved into the ochre cliffs at Gargas. The Village des Bories, 16 km away, is a collection of rural dry-stone structures near Gordes. The ruins of Fort de Buoux, 13 km away, overlook a landscape of cliffs and valleys popular with hikers. Gordes, 14 km away, is a hilltop village with stone lanes and views over the Luberon. You can also visit the centre of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt to see the church and castle remains.

In spring, the trails are pleasant for walking before the hottest weather; in summer, it is better to plan outings for early morning or late afternoon. Markets in nearby villages offer a chance to sample local produce and take a break in a shaded square. From late June to July, lavender fields colour several parts of the Luberon, depending on the season’s conditions. A day can combine a walk around the village, a visit to an ochre site and a stop in a hilltop village. In September, temperatures are often still suitable for excursions in the hills.
