Villa Fautea Verdon

Villa Fautea Verdon offers three versions of an entire villa, each measuring 180 m² and designed to accommodate up to ten people, depending on the category. They include four bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and three bathrooms. The spaces are arranged to bring the group together in the shared rooms while offering several separate bedrooms.

The accommodation shares several facilities: air conditioning, a private pool, a terrace with lake views, a flat-screen TV and a dishwasher. The kitchen also has an oven, fridge, microwave, hob and coffee machine. Two categories offer four double beds and two single beds; the third has three double beds and three single beds. The latter accommodates nine people. The bathrooms have a shower and hairdryer.

Villa Fautea Verdon provides a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals on site. It includes a fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. A dining table lets you share meals, while the living room has a seating area and a flat-screen TV. A washing machine, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi complete the indoor facilities.

Outside, the villa has a private pool, balcony, patio and a sun terrace with outdoor furniture and a dining area. A barbecue and sun loungers are also provided. Free private parking is available on site without prior reservation. The surrounding area is suitable for hiking, cycling and fishing; a beach is also among the facilities and activities on offer. The outdoor pool is open seasonally.

Sainte-Croix-de-Verdon is a Provençal village in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, close to the shores of Lake Sainte-Croix. Turquoise water, limestone landscapes and stone villages shape the scenery. The lake often sets the pace of the day: visitors come to swim, enjoy water sports or explore the roads and trails of the Verdon Regional Natural Park. The neighbouring village of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon is 210 m away.

The Church of Sainte-Croix is in the village, 200 m away. Sainte-Croix’s beaches provide access to the lake, including Sainte Croix Naturist Beach, 2.2 km away, and Sulagran Beach, 2.7 km away. The Verdon area is well suited to walking excursions and bike rides; roads connect the shores with the surrounding villages. Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, known for its narrow streets and faience pottery, is 16 km away. A car makes it easier to visit several sites and travel between villages.

In summer, the beaches and activities on the lake take centre stage; during the busiest periods, it is best to plan outings early in the day. Spring and early autumn are well suited to hiking and walks through the landscapes of the Verdon, when temperatures are often milder. For a varied day, you can spend the morning in the village or on a trail, then return to the lake shore in the afternoon. Nearby villages also make pleasant stops on a circular drive.
