Villa MAJOULIÈRE

Villa MAJOULIÈRE is rented as a whole: these are not rooms booked separately, but a 120 m² house designed to accommodate up to eight people. The villa has four bedrooms, a living room and two bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements include bunk beds, double beds and sofa beds, spread between the sleeping areas and the living room.

The equipped kitchen and dining area make it easy to prepare and share meals on site. The accommodation also has air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. One of its distinctive features is a private pool and a terrace overlooking the garden and pool. Outdoor furniture and a barbecue complete the living spaces. This layout suits families or groups who want to stay together while enjoying separate indoor and outdoor areas.

The outdoor areas include a garden, a sun terrace and furniture for meals or relaxing. The private pool is enclosed and surrounded by sun loungers; a barbecue and barbecue facilities complete this space. La Ciotat stretches along the Provençal coastline, between beaches, a harbour and limestone hills. The Saint-Jean district, east of the centre, is a residential area facing the sea, with coves and sandy or pebbly beaches. Fontsainte Beach is 150 m from the villa. This part of the town suits travellers who want to alternate swimming, coastal walks and quieter days in a house with a garden.

Calanques National Park begins nearby, with its cliffs, trails and coves accessible on foot or by sea. Saint-Jean Beach and Saint-Jean Chapel are local landmarks. For a cultural outing, the Monument Lumière and Palais Lumière recall the history of the Lumière family in La Ciotat. La Ciotat-Ceyreste railway station, 1.1 km away, provides connections to other coastal towns; a car is useful for exploring the surrounding area and the various hiking trailheads.

The Mediterranean climate makes outdoor activities enjoyable for much of the year. In summer, plan walks in the Calanques for the cooler parts of the day and leave time for swimming; the coast is busier then. Spring and early autumn are good times for walks and visits in milder temperatures. You can spend one day exploring the coves, then another at the harbour and in the streets of La Ciotat centre.
