In Antibes, the Picasso Museum occupies Château Grimaldi in the narrow streets of the old town; the ramparts and the Provençal market also make for a pleasant stroll. Juan-les-Pins has a different atmosphere, with its beaches and jazz venues. Juan-les-Pins railway station is 2.5 km away and Antibes station is 3.6 km away. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 11 km away.

Swimming and coastal walks are particularly enjoyable on spring and autumn days, when temperatures remain pleasant and the beaches are less crowded than in the height of summer. In July and August, plan to reach the coast early and take a break during the hottest part of the day. You can spend a day alternating between the Cap’s paths, a swim in a cove and a visit to old Antibes, before heading to Juan-les-Pins in the evening. The area is easy to explore by combining walks with journeys by car or public transport from the railway stations.
