The atmosphere is quieter than in the Côte d’Azur’s larger centres, while remaining connected to neighbouring towns.

Several beaches are within walking distance of the villa, including Plage du Grand Boucharel, 130 m away, and Plage de la corniche d'azur, the same distance away. Parc Areca, a botanical garden filled with palm trees and exotic plants, is 2.1 km away. Fréjus has Roman heritage, including its amphitheatre, as well as an old town around the cathedral. Its railway station is 6 km away; a car makes it easier to travel between the beaches and nearby attractions. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 66 km away by road.

In summer, the beaches are lively and the sunshine invites you to alternate swimming with walks along the coastal path. Spring and early autumn often bring temperatures suited to walks and sightseeing, with fewer visitors than in July and August. You can spend a day exploring the coves of Saint-Aygulf, then head to Fréjus to see its ruins and old town. For a nature outing, the Villepey ponds area offers a different landscape, with lagoons and birdlife, away from the seafront.
