Écrins National Park offers a change of pace, with walks, scenic views and hikes. The road through the Champsaur valley is useful for reaching the resort and neighbouring towns.

In winter, bring clothing suited to mountain conditions and check whether the slopes are open before setting out. Summer is a good time for hikes and trips through the valleys and mountain pastures; you can combine a walk at altitude with a break in the village. The shoulder seasons are quieter, and the activities on offer depend on the time of year. The resort therefore suits both active breaks and family getaways, with different options in each season.
