Les Baux-de-Provence stands out for its hilltop medieval village and castle ruins, with wide views over the surrounding hills. The Tours de Castillon offer another glimpse of local heritage. Arles, known for its Roman amphitheatre and historic centre, is 13 km away. Fontvieille railway station is 6 km away; a car is useful for exploring the villages and natural sites spread across the Alpilles.

For a day outdoors, you could spend the morning walking in the hills, then visit Les Baux-de-Provence and take time to wander its lanes.
