Bar des Amis

Bar des Amis offers four room types, all equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The rooms sleep two people, except for the triple room, which sleeps three. They measure between 12 and 15 m² and offer views of the mountains or the town. Amenities include a shower or bath, a hairdryer, bed linen and free toiletries.

The 12 m² Double Room with Mountain View stands out for its mountain views. Two 15 m² rooms overlook the town: one has a double bed and the other a large double bed. The Triple Room has one single bed and one double bed. For a private outdoor space, the room with a large double bed has a terrace and mountain views. The rooms are on the upper floors, accessible by stairs only.

Bar des Amis has a restaurant, a bar and a café on site. The restaurant offers children's menus and menus for special diets on request. Wine and champagne are among the drinks available. A terrace and outdoor furniture provide places to sit outside, whether for a meal or a break. Continental breakfast is served on site.

Guests have access to free public parking, including spaces for guests with reduced mobility, and free Wi-Fi in some rooms. You can go hiking and cycling, take walks or join cycling tours. Board games and puzzles are available, and packed lunches can be prepared for an outing. Private check-in and check-out are available. The rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned, and have a private bathroom. Pets are allowed on request, and an additional charge may apply.

Villars is a village in the Luberon, in the Vaucluse, surrounded by Provençal landscapes where hills, fields and old ochre quarries set the scene. The region will appeal to travellers drawn to Provençal villages, walks and colourful landscapes.

Hiking and cycling routes let you explore the countryside and sites associated with ochre. The Ochre Trail in Roussillon passes through old quarry faces in shades of red and orange. The Ochre Conservatory in Roussillon presents the techniques and pigments associated with this activity. Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt offers another village stop, while Apt is home to Sainte-Anne Cathedral and its museums. Fort de Buoux, in the Luberon Massif, will interest visitors keen on heritage and walks.

In spring and autumn, temperatures are often well suited to outings on foot or by bike. In summer, hot days make it worth planning outings for early morning and leaving time for a break in the shade. In late June and July, lavender fields bring colour to some Provençal landscapes. You can spend a day alternating between a walk through a village, a visit to the ochre sites and a return to Villars for dinner at the hotel.
