Bastide Marie Antoinette

Bastide Marie Antoinette offers four accommodation options: two apartments with a terrace, a studio and a one-bedroom house. The apartments with a terrace and the house each measure 40 m²; the studio measures 26 m². Every unit has a private bathroom, an equipped kitchen or kitchenette, and air conditioning. Shared amenities include a fridge, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine.

The main differences are the outdoor space and the views. One of the Apartments with Terrace overlooks the town, while the other faces the garden. The Studio has a balcony with sea and town views. The One-Bedroom House also offers sea and town views, but no private terrace is listed. The units include a flat-screen TV, and some have a sofa bed in addition to the main bed.

The outdoor areas include a garden, a sun terrace, outdoor furniture and an al fresco dining area. You can prepare a meal on the barbecue or use the picnic area; parasols and sun loungers are also available. The accommodation kitchens have useful appliances for preparing and sharing meals, including a coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

Free private parking is available on site, with an indoor area and access for guests with reduced mobility. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Leisure facilities and activities listed include hiking, canoeing, windsurfing, fishing and horse riding. Board games and puzzles are available, as well as books, DVDs or music for children. The accommodation is air-conditioned and heated.

La Colle-sur-Loup is a Provençal village in the Alpes-Maritimes, between the hills of the hinterland and the Mediterranean coast. Its narrow streets and small squares offer a slower pace than the larger nearby towns. If you enjoy old villages, walks and cultural visits, you can alternate trips inland with days by the sea. The neighbouring village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence adds an artistic stop to your visit.

The Fondation Maeght, 1.5 km away, brings together modern art in a setting designed for exhibitions and walks. Saint-Paul-de-Vence, 1.7 km away, is known for its ramparts, galleries and cobbled streets. Parc naturel des Rives du Loup offers walking routes beside the river and through Mediterranean vegetation. The coastal beaches are about 5 km away. Cagnes-sur-Mer railway station makes it easy to continue your journey by train; Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport is 8 km away.

For a varied day out, you can start with a stroll around the village, spend the afternoon at the Fondation Maeght or in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, then head to the coast. Spring and autumn are pleasant for walks and visits to the villages, with generally milder temperatures. In summer, allow time for the beaches and outings later in the day, when the heat eases. Nice and its museums are worth a visit at any time of year, while the nearby trails invite you to explore the inland landscapes.
