L'Escaillon

L'Escaillon offers three holiday homes of different sizes, with one or two bedrooms and capacity for two to five guests. Each unit has a living area, a private bathroom and an equipped kitchen or kitchenette. Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a terrace are among the shared amenities. The accommodation also includes a dishwasher and a coffee machine, while the kitchens are equipped for preparing meals.

The 90 m² two-bedroom house is the largest and sleeps five. It stands out for its two bathrooms, a bath and a shower, as well as a terrace with a sea view. The two one-bedroom houses measure 45 and 55 m² respectively. The first sleeps two and has a patio with views of the garden and pool. The second sleeps three and has a bath or shower, a patio and views of the town, garden and pool.

The outdoor areas include a garden, a sun terrace and furniture for dining outside. The private pool is surrounded by sun loungers or beach chairs and enclosed by a fence. The terraces extend the living spaces of the accommodation, while air conditioning and heating are available indoors. Free private indoor parking is available on site, with no reservation required.

The accommodation has a kitchen or kitchenette, with facilities including an oven, hob, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. A coffee machine and electric kettle are provided for preparing drinks. The dining area, sofa and flat-screen TV complete the shared spaces. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Practical facilities for families are also provided, such as a high chair, child safety socket covers, and books, DVDs or music for children.

La Colle-sur-Loup is a Provençal village in the Nice hinterland, between the hills and the Mediterranean. Its narrow streets, old façades and small squares make for a peaceful stroll, away from the busiest seaside districts. The village suits stays that combine sightseeing, time by the pool and trips to the coast. The surrounding area alternates between wooded landscapes, hilltop villages and residential districts of the French Riviera.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence, an artists’ village with medieval streets and galleries, is 1.9 km away. The Fondation Maeght, a modern and contemporary art museum surrounded by a sculpture garden, is 1.7 km away. Parc Naturel des Rives du Loup has walking areas along the river. For a day by the water, the beaches of Cagnes-sur-Mer are about 5 km away. Cagnes-sur-Mer train station, also 5 km away, connects the coast with neighbouring towns; Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 8 km away. A car makes it easier to travel between the villages and beaches.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for walks through the villages and cultural visits, with temperatures often milder than in midsummer. In summer, you can spend the morning in Saint-Paul-de-Vence or at the Fondation Maeght, then return to the pool during the hottest hours. Another outing takes you to the coast to enjoy the beaches before returning to the hinterland. Nice lets you round off your stay with a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, a visit to its museums or a look around its markets. The surrounding hills also offer walking routes, while nearby villages are easy to explore over the course of a day.
