Domaine du Paraïs B&B

Le Domaine du Paraïs B&B offers four rooms for two people, except for the Double Room with Extra Bed, which can accommodate three guests. They range from 12 to 27 m². Each has a private bathroom, an electric kettle and a garden view. Two rooms also offer mountain views. The categories differ in capacity, size and sleeping arrangements: a double bed, a large double bed, or a large double bed accompanied by a single bed.

The Queen Room has a desk and a garden view. The room with an extra bed includes a seating area and accommodates one additional person. In the Double Room with Private External Bathroom, the bathroom is on the floor below. Some rooms have outdoor furniture; the rooms on the upper floors are accessible by stairs only.

The garden, terrace and outdoor furniture let you enjoy the natural surroundings of the property. There is also a picnic area, suitable for an outdoor break between walks. Outdoor activities available nearby include hiking, walking, horse riding and canoeing and kayaking. Temporary art galleries are also among the activities on offer.

Free private parking is available on site, with no reservation required, and Wi-Fi is free throughout. The rooms have an electric kettle, and a tea and coffee maker is provided. Sospel is a village in the Alpes-Maritimes, set in the Bévéra Valley between the Alpine foothills and the coast. Its old town has narrow lanes, houses with colourful façades and vaulted passages. The Pont Vieux, recognisable by its central tower, crosses the river and links the village’s two historic districts. The village retains the feel of a small mountain town, with heritage to explore on foot and a more relaxed pace than the coast.

Mercantour National Park offers hiking trails and mountain scenery nearby. Fort du Barbonnet recalls the strategic importance of this border valley; other military structures dot the heights around Sospel. In the village, Saint-Michel Church and the Musée des Fortifications Alpines Fort Saint-Roch offer stops focused on local history. Sospel railway station is 3.1 km from the property. For a trip to the Mediterranean, Menton and the coastal towns offer a change of scenery, while Nice provides access to major museums and seafront districts.

Fine weather is ideal for strolling through the lanes and heading out on the Mercantour trails; in spring and autumn, temperatures are often better suited to hiking than on the hottest summer days. You can start the day by exploring old Sospel, continue with a mountain walk and finish on the terrace. In winter, bring clothing suited to Alpine conditions. A car makes it easier to explore the village, neighbouring valleys and the coast, while trains serve Sospel.
