Harmonie

Harmonie offers a 26 m² holiday home arranged around a separate bedroom and a lounge. The bedroom has a double bed; the lounge includes a sofa bed and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. This layout separates the sleeping areas from the living space, where you can also enjoy meals.

The private bathroom has a shower or a bath and a toilet. The house is air-conditioned and soundproofed. The kitchen has an oven, a microwave, a hob, a fridge, a toaster and an electric kettle for preparing meals. A coffee machine, a washing machine, bed linen and towels are also provided. A private entrance and tiled floors complete the facilities in this self-contained home.

Monteux is in Vaucluse, in Provence, between the landscapes of Comtat Venaissin and the region’s major heritage sites. This small town offers a chance to discover a Provence of markets, squares and walks, with Avignon and Carpentras both within the same sightseeing area. The centre retains old gates and religious buildings that give its streets a local character. Families can also enjoy outdoor activities and amusement parks.

Porte d'Avignon and Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth Church are among the landmarks in the centre. Farmers’ markets and public gardens offer simple stops during a day in town. The water park and Parc Spirou Provence are particularly popular with families in the warmer months. Monteux railway station is 350 m away; Carpentras, with its monuments and old streets, is also accessible by train or car. Avignon, about 20 km away, is home to the Palace of the Popes and Pont Saint-Bénézet, known as the Pont d’Avignon.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for sightseeing and walks in Comtat, with temperatures often milder than in July and August. In summer, water parks and family activities feature prominently; it is best to plan outdoor outings for the cooler parts of the day. You can combine a visit to Monteux centre with a trip to Avignon, then continue with a walk through the surrounding Provençal countryside.
