Hôtel du Roc

Hôtel du Roc offers three room types: double, triple and quadruple. All have a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a view. The Double Room measures 15 m² and accommodates two people; the other two types measure 20 m² and sleep three and four people respectively. This lets you choose a room to suit the size of your group without changing the main facilities.

The beds vary by room type. The Double Room has one double bed. The Triple Room is available with one single bed and one double bed, or with three single beds; the Quadruple Room has two double beds. The rooms have a shower, toilet and wardrobe or closet. Each also has a flat-screen TV and a telephone. The room sizes and beds distinguish the different types, while all have a private bathroom and a view.

Hôtel du Roc’s facilities combine dining areas with practical services. The restaurant serves French and Portuguese specialities; children’s menus and menus for special diets are available on request. A continental breakfast can be served in your room. There is also a bar where you can take a break, as well as a terrace.

Castellane’s market brings life to the village, while the Tour de l'Horloge marks the route through the old streets. The Pont du Roc provides a crossing towards the valley landscapes. The gorge also attracts rafting, canyoning and walking enthusiasts. Saint-André-les-Alpes railway station is 13 km away; Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 59 km away. A car makes it easier to travel between the village, hiking trailheads and natural sites.

In spring and autumn, the temperatures are often well suited to walks and visits to the village. Summer is a good time for water activities and trips into the gorge, though the most popular places are busier. You can start the day in the narrow streets and at the local museum, then enjoy an outdoor activity in the Verdon. You can also devote your stay to hiking, adapting your route to the conditions at the time.
