Hotel La Bastide

Hotel La Bastide offers six accommodation categories, from double rooms to a one-bedroom apartment. The double rooms measure 11 m² and accommodate two people. Some overlook the garden or mountains; one category has a balcony or garden-level access, while another has a terrace with sea views. The 15 m² triple room accommodates three people and has a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden.

Each room is air-conditioned and has a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The 35 m² one-bedroom apartment accommodates four people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a coffee machine; its living room has a sofa bed, in addition to the double bed in the bedroom. Capacity and facilities vary by category, ranging from a compact double room to an apartment with space to prepare and enjoy meals.

Hotel La Bastide has a garden, outdoor furniture and several outdoor areas, including a sun terrace and a dining area. There is also a picnic area. Guests can enjoy activities in the surrounding area, including walking, cycling, hiking, canoeing, fishing, windsurfing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Parasols and sun loungers are also available.

Saint-Clair is a coastal district of Le Lavandou, on the Var coast, where sandy beaches alternate with rocky stretches and hills covered in Mediterranean vegetation. Saint-Clair Beach is popular for swimming and days by the water. Le Lavandou, a former fishing village that has become a seaside resort, retains its port life and lively centre, while providing access to a succession of coves and beaches.

Saint-Clair Beach is 100 m away. Head towards the centre of Le Lavandou to walk along the port and discover the beaches of Grande Plage. The ferry terminal, 880 m away, serves the Îles d’Or, including Porquerolles and Port-Cros; the latter is home to a national park known for its island scenery and protected seabed. Fort de Brégançon, 7 km away, is a historic presidential residence on a rocky headland. Toulon-Hyères Airport is 18 km away, and Hyères railway station provides access to the regional rail network.

In summer, days revolve around the sea, swimming and boat trips; the coast gets busier then, especially in July and August. In spring and September, temperatures are often still suitable for coastal walks, and the beaches are quieter. A trip to Port-Cros suits hiking and snorkelling enthusiasts, while a day in Le Lavandou can combine a market visit, the port and a swim. By car, the coast also offers stops in Bormes-les-Mimosas and other villages in the Var.
