In spring and September, temperatures are often pleasant for walking, visiting Grimaud or exploring Sainte-Maxime without spending the whole day by the water. A day could begin at the beach, continue with a stroll around the harbour and end with a crossing to Saint-Tropez when the seasonal service is running. A car offers greater flexibility for exploring the coves and villages nearby.
