L'Atelier de l'Horte

L'Atelier de l'Horte has three double rooms measuring 36, 40 and 55 m². All are air-conditioned, have a private bathroom and overlook the garden; all three also offer views of the swimming pool. Two rooms have an extra-large double bed. The largest also has a single bed and can accommodate up to two people.

The 40 m² room has a balcony overlooking the garden and a seating area. The 36 m² room includes an outdoor dining area and wooden flooring. In the 55 m² room, you’ll find a dressing room, a sofa and an outdoor dining area. The rooms also have toiletries and a hairdryer; a desk or outdoor furniture is provided, depending on the room.

L'Atelier de l'Horte brings together outdoor spaces and facilities to help you make the most of your day. You can swim in the heated outdoor pool, then choose from several places to relax, including the garden, the sun terrace and the outdoor furniture. A picnic area and an outdoor dining area complete these spaces. Guests can also enjoy table tennis, darts, hiking and cycling. Massages and beauty treatments are among the services available.

The bar, on-site café, snack bar and fruit offer different options for a break. Breakfast is served on site, with continental, Italian, American, or full English and Irish options. A shared kitchen with a refrigerator is available. Private parking and Wi-Fi throughout the guest house are free. The rooms have a private bathroom, a hairdryer and free toiletries; some also have a balcony or a dressing room.

Violès is a village in the Vaucluse surrounded by vineyards, between the landscapes of the Rhône and the hills of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Here, roads wind through vineyards and link small Provençal towns. Life moves at the pace of the countryside, with wine estates, open-air walks and village squares where you can stop for a while. This makes a good base for travellers looking to combine wine discoveries, walks and peaceful days in Provence.

Saint-Pierre Church is in the village, and the trails of the Dentelles de Montmirail attract hikers with their rocky ridges and views over the vineyards. Vacqueyras and Gigondas, two villages known for their wine appellations, offer the chance to explore wine cellars and hillside landscapes. Orange, with its Roman ancient theatre and triumphal arch, makes another worthwhile heritage excursion. Courthézon railway station is 9 km away; Orange station is 11 km away. A car makes it easier to travel between villages, wine estates and hiking trailheads.
