L'Oursin

L'Oursin offers five room categories for one to three people. You will find two single rooms, one with shared toilet facilities and the other with a private bathroom, as well as an economy double room and a twin room. A triple room with sea views completes the options. Room sizes range from 10 to 18 m².

The double rooms have a private bathroom, and some categories include air conditioning and a minibar. The twin room is distinguished by its bathtub; the single rooms have a single bed. The triple room stands out for its sea views and its layout, with one single bed and one large double bed. Several categories include a flat-screen TV. The level of privacy varies by room, particularly as one of the single rooms has shared toilet facilities.

L'Oursin offers free Wi-Fi, family rooms and continental breakfast served in the morning. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in some rooms. The continental option is the breakfast offered on site. Family rooms let you choose a category suited to travelling with relatives; depending on their layout, the rooms accommodate one or more people.

The hotel has no parking. If you are arriving by car, you will need to arrange parking in the village. Check-in is from 14:00 to 20:30, and check-out is until 11:00. If you plan to arrive outside reception opening hours, you must notify the hotel in advance. Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat extends into the Mediterranean between Nice and Monaco. The village occupies a peninsula where houses and small beaches alternate with gardens, villas and coastal paths. It has the feel of a residential seaside resort, focused more on the sea and walks than on the bustle of a large city. The harbour, coves and paths that follow the outline of the headland offer several ways to explore the coastline.

The Ephrussi de Rothschild Gardens, 770 m away, combine a Belle Époque villa with themed gardens overlooking the sea. Paloma Beach, 780 m away, is a popular spot for swimming and coastal views. Saint-Hospice Chapel is 1.1 km away, in an area defined by the landscapes of the headland. To connect to the regional rail network, Beaulieu-sur-Mer train station is 1.9 km away; Villefranche-sur-Mer is another nearby station. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport serves the region, while journeys to towns along the French Riviera are made by road.

Walks by the water are especially pleasant in spring and autumn, when temperatures are milder. In summer, the beaches attract more visitors: setting out early lets you enjoy the shore before the busiest hours. You can spend a day exploring the gardens and coves, then follow a stretch of the coastal path. For a change of scene, Nice offers museums, markets and urban architecture, while Monaco makes another coastal excursion. Mild weather is well suited to walking around the peninsula.
