The village is a stop for exploring its lanes, shops and the roads that cross this part of Provence. La Bastide des Bourguets is in the Bourguets area, away from the centre.

The village of Sault, 2.6 km away, is a pleasant place to stroll through its streets and visit the Musée Municipal. Nearby, the Musée de la Truffe du Ventoux showcases another of the region’s signature products. The Nesque viewpoint, 2.2 km away, offers views of the plateau; further on, the Nesque Gorges form a spectacular road between cliffs and valleys. The neighbouring village of Monieux is another stop for exploring the area. A car is useful for reaching the villages, natural sites and hiking trailheads scattered across the countryside.

Fine weather is ideal for cycling and exploring the Ventoux roads; hikers can spend a day at the gorges and viewpoints. Lavender blooms colour the landscapes around Sault in summer, particularly from late June to July, depending on the year’s conditions. In spring and autumn, milder temperatures make walking excursions more comfortable. Allow time to cross the plateau and stop in the villages rather than trying to visit too many places.
