La Coudoulière

La Coudoulière offers four options for two people: two studios and two double rooms. All have a private bathroom, a private entrance and a terrace, with views of the garden and pool. The studios stand out for their kitchenettes, which include a refrigerator, microwave, hob and kitchenware. The studios also have a coffee machine.

The two double rooms have no kitchenette; one measures 22 m², compared with 20 m² for the other accommodation. The rooms have a flat-screen TV and a shower. Air conditioning is available in just one category. The terraces and outdoor furniture let you enjoy views of the green spaces and pool. Each option is for two people and has either an extra-large double bed or a large double bed, depending on the category.

The outdoor swimming pool is one of La Coudoulière’s main places to relax. It is complemented by a garden, terraces and outdoor furniture, including sun loungers and parasols for sitting outside. An open-air bath is also available. Bicycle rental is among the services offered.

Guests have free Wi-Fi throughout the property and a flat-screen TV. The studios have a kitchenette; the rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and hairdryer. Indoor parking is free and private. A continental breakfast is available on site. Private check-in and check-out are possible, with express check-in and check-out. Air conditioning is limited to one room category; heating is also available. The outdoor areas include dining spaces, some set up for eating outdoors.

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence lies in the Alpilles, amid landscapes of scrubland, olive groves and small Provençal roads. The old town has narrow streets, squares and stone façades around the Collegiate Church of Saint-Martin. Visitors can stroll around, browse the market shops and spend time in museums devoted to local history and art. The surrounding countryside gives the town the character of a Provençal market town, with heritage and natural landscapes side by side.

The old town of Saint-Rémy is 1.4 km from La Coudoulière. The Musée Estrine – Présence Van Gogh hosts art exhibitions in a town house in the centre. The Collegiate Church of Saint-Martin and the historic gates feature along walks through the old streets. Saint-Paul-de-Mausole Priory, 2.4 km away, is associated with Vincent van Gogh’s stay; its cloister and gardens make it a place to explore local heritage. Les Antiques, a group of Roman remains near Glanum, is also nearby. Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes Airport is 34 km away; Fontvieille is the railway station listed nearby, at 13 km.

The Alpilles are well suited to walking and cycling, visits to estates and discovering Provençal villages. In spring, the trails offer pleasant temperatures for exploring the hills; in summer, it is best to plan outings for early morning or late afternoon. You can spend a day exploring the old town and its museums, then visit the priory or walk in the countryside. In autumn, the landscapes and markets offer another way to discover local produce.
