La petite Jarlandine

La petite Jarlandine is rented as a whole: the house has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people. Its 70 m² bring the sleeping and living areas together around an equipped kitchen and a lounge. The layout includes two double beds in the bedrooms, as well as a sofa bed in the living room.

The kitchen lets you prepare meals on site, with a hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. A dining table, coffee machine and kettle complete the equipment. The private bathroom has a shower; towels and bed linen are provided. The terrace overlooks the garden and has an outdoor dining area. A washing machine, private entrance and high chair provide practical amenities for a family stay.

The upper floors are accessible by stairs only.

Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban stretches along the Durance Valley, between the hills of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the more open landscapes of the Durance basin. The village combines a Provençal setting with residential neighbourhoods, walking areas and heritage sites. La petite Jarlandine is in the Saint-Auban area, near Saint-Auban Church and several places for walks.

Théâtre Durance hosts a programme of performances and is a cultural landmark in the town. The remains of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens Priory and the hamlet of Vière offer a glimpse of the area’s past. 12 km away, the Citadel of Sisteron overlooks the town and valley; its fortifications and viewpoints make it a memorable place to visit. Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban railway station is 3.7 km away. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding villages and landscapes; you can also walk around the neighbourhoods and green spaces.

The valley is suited to outdoor activities throughout the seasons: mild spring and autumn days are good for walks, while in summer you can plan visits for early morning or late afternoon. You can spend a day in Sisteron and explore its ramparts, then return to Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban for a walk in the leisure areas.
