La Terracotta

La Terracotta offers three accommodation options for two people: two double rooms and a suite. All have air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and a coffee machine. A flat-screen TV and toiletries complete the shared amenities. They range in size from 30 to 65 m², with a clear difference between the double rooms and the suite.

The Double Room with Spa Bath measures 35 m² and overlooks the garden from its terrace. The 30 m² Double Room offers a city view and has a fireplace. The 65 m² Queen Suite with Spa Bath has a separate living room and an urban view; it suits those who want a living space separate from the bedroom. The beds are double beds, including an extra-large double bed in two of the accommodation options.

La Terracotta combines furnished outdoor spaces with areas for relaxing. The garden and sun terrace let you enjoy the outdoors at different times of day. Outdoor furniture and an outdoor dining area complete these spaces. Inside, the shared lounge has a TV area and board games or puzzles.

The hot tub and spa offer a way to unwind after a day of sightseeing or activities. The rooms are air-conditioned and have flat-screen TVs; the en-suite bathrooms include free toiletries and a hairdryer. A coffee machine and kettle are provided, and there is a café on site. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The surrounding area is well suited to walks, cycling, hiking and horse riding; canoeing, fishing and golf are also among the activities available in the region.

Vidauban is a small town in the Var, in the Provençal hinterland, between the Maures hills and the vineyards of Dracénie. Its centre has shopping streets, squares and historic buildings, with the lively atmosphere of a town shaped by local life. La Terracotta is on Rue Albert 1er, within walking distance of the centre’s amenities. The region suits travellers looking to combine town walks, visits to wine estates and outings in the countryside.

Vidauban train station is 450 m away, making it convenient to reach neighbouring towns by train. Wine lovers can visit Château d'Astros, a Provençal estate whose château and vineyards make up a typical Var landscape, 1.4 km away. The Cascade de l'Aille, 3.8 km away, is a good option for a walk in a natural setting. Taradeau, 3.1 km away, offers the chance to discover a neighbouring village and its rural surroundings. Les Arcs and its medieval heritage make another worthwhile excursion in Dracénie. A car makes it easier to explore the villages, estates and scenery of the Maures; the train station is an alternative for some journeys.

Summer days are well suited to morning walks and breaks in the shade, while the cooler seasons are ideal for hiking and cellar visits. At the end of summer and in autumn, the grape harvest shapes life at the wine estates.
