Le Mas du Rouquan

Le Mas du Rouquan offers three room categories for couples, families and groups of friends. All have air conditioning, a private bathroom, a terrace and a coffee machine. They overlook the garden, and two categories also have mountain views. Room sizes range from 18 to 50 m²; the Family Room is the most spacious and accommodates up to four people.

The Double Room with Terrace is suitable for two guests. The Triple Room with Garden View combines a single bed and a double bed, while the Family Room has two large double beds. The rooms are also soundproofed and have private entrances. Depending on the room, the bathroom has a shower or a bathtub. Outdoor furniture lets you enjoy the terrace and green surroundings.

Le Mas du Rouquan has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and several outdoor spaces. You can eat in the outdoor dining area or relax on the sun terrace. The picnic area and outdoor furniture add to these facilities. Free private parking is available on site without prior reservation, and free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms.

Activities include table tennis, walking, hiking and cycling. A water park, horse riding, canoeing, windsurfing, scuba diving and fishing are also among the options. The family rooms are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom; they are equipped with a coffee machine or kettle. Breakfast can be served in your room. Vidauban is in the Var, amid a Provençal landscape of hills, vineyards and small towns. This inland commune has a different feel from the coastal resorts: the countryside and wine estates form the setting, while the villages of the Maures invite you to explore their lanes and southern landscapes. Le Mas du Rouquan is in a rural area, away from large urban centres.

Wine estates are a prominent feature of the area, including Domaine de Jale, 760 m away, and Domaine des Nibas, 2 km away. Cascade de l’Aille, 3.3 km away, offers an outing in a natural setting. Golfers can reach Vidauban Golf Club, 3.6 km away. Further afield, La Garde-Freinet and the ruins of Fort Freinet offer a chance to discover a Provençal village and a historic site in the Maures. Vidauban railway station is 7 km away; a car makes it easier to get between the villages and estates.

Spring and autumn are good times for walks in the hills and visits to wine estates; the grape harvest usually brings activity to the region in September and October. In summer, the pool and outdoor activities naturally become part of the day, although temperatures can be high. You can spend a morning exploring the Aille landscapes, then discover the wines and villages of the inland area. The Var coast is also suitable for a day trip, while the evenings remain pleasant for enjoying a terrace.
