Les Jardins de Bouteille

Les Jardins de Bouteille offers three independent accommodation units: two apartments with garden views and a four-bedroom house. The apartments are 73 and 80 m²; the first accommodates two people and the second four. The larger house, at 200 m², can accommodate up to eight guests and has a private pool.

The accommodation has a kitchen, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The kitchens are equipped for preparing meals, including a fridge, oven, dishwasher, hob and coffee machine. Views vary by accommodation: garden and mountains from the One-Bedroom Apartment with Garden View, garden and balcony from the Two-Bedroom Apartment with Garden View, and garden, pool and mountains from the house. The One-Bedroom Apartment with Garden View has a terrace, and a barbecue is among the facilities available in the different units.

Les Jardins de Bouteille has free private parking and free Wi-Fi. The outdoor areas include a garden, a terrace and furniture for outdoor dining. You can also use the barbecue and enjoy the sun loungers, parasols and pool toys. Board games, badminton equipment and a table tennis table are available for leisure time.

Each unit has a kitchen with a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and electric kettle. A coffee machine, toaster and kitchenware complete the equipment. The bathrooms have a shower or bath; bed linen and towels are provided. A washing machine is also available. For indoor entertainment, the accommodation has a TV, and some media facilities include a radio or CD player. The sun terrace and outdoor dining areas let you enjoy the garden.

Manosque is a town in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, between the landscapes of Provence and the hills that herald the Verdon. Its old town can be explored along narrow streets lined with houses and historic gateways; the town is also associated with the writer Jean Giono, who grew up here. The surrounding countryside combines hills, cultivated land and villages, making it suitable for travellers who want to alternate town visits with trips by car.

Lou Paraïs, Jean Giono’s former home, is 1.9 km away; you can discover the writer’s world there. Château de Gassaud is also 1.9 km away. In the centre, Porte de la Saunerie bears witness to Manosque’s former fortifications, while Fondation Carzou displays the artist’s works in a former chapel. Manosque-Gréoux railway station is 2.2 km away. Marseille-Provence Airport is 64 km away; a car makes it easier to travel to regional sights and nearby villages.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks in the centre and excursions into the surrounding countryside, with temperatures generally milder than in the height of summer. In summer, Manosque’s markets and streets offer a chance to discover the local rhythm before a day trip to Verdon Regional Natural Park. The lavender flowering season, generally from late June to July in the region, gives you another reason to explore the roads of Provence. For a more leisurely day, you can visit the museum dedicated to Giono and then stroll through the old streets.
