Lou calado

The Town Gate and the Clock Tower are landmarks on a visit to the old town. The Éco-musée du Pays de Fayence offers a closer look at local history and traditions. Nearby Tourrettes and Seillans, villages with stone lanes and views over the hills, make for further stops on an excursion. Terre Blanche Golf Course attracts golf enthusiasts, while the local roads connect several hilltop towns. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 40 km away; a car is useful for travelling between villages and more distant sights.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks through the lanes and outings in the hinterland, with temperatures often more moderate than in summer.
