In the centre of Tarascon, the Château du Roi René overlooks the Rhône and tells the story of the town. Sainte-Marthe Church and the town houses make for a walking route through the old streets. Across the river, Beaucaire also has a castle and an arena. The village of Boulbon and its castle offer an outing among the garrigue landscapes. Tarascon railway station is 4.4 km away; Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes Airport is 21 km away. Avignon, 20 km away, offers the chance to visit the Palace of the Popes and the ramparts.
