Montjoia offers two double rooms measuring 20 and 27 m², as well as a 50 m² Two-Bedroom Suite. All three have a terrace, a garden view, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. Each double room accommodates two people; they differ in size and bathroom facilities. The 20 m² room has a bath and air conditioning, while the 27 m² room has a walk-in shower.

The suite has two sleeping areas, one with a large double bed and the other with two single beds. It suits travellers who want separate bedrooms. To reach the bathroom from the upstairs bedroom, you have to pass through the other bedroom. Air conditioning, a terrace and a garden view complete the suite’s facilities. You can also play pétanque, use the badminton equipment or let the children enjoy the outdoor play equipment. The heated outdoor pool has a cover, sun loungers and a fence.

Facilities for activities include board games, books and content for children. Cooking classes, concerts or shows, and walking tours are also among the activities on offer. A shared kitchen has a coffee machine and an electric kettle; coffee and tea are available at any time. Private parking is free. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Le Thor is a village in Vaucluse, on the Comtat plain between Avignon and the landscapes of the Luberon. The lanes in the centre, Provençal houses and banks of the Sorgue give the town a small-town feel, with walks that take in both heritage and countryside. Around the village, orchards and farmland create an open landscape, while the Vaucluse hills rise in the distance.

Thouzon Caves, 1.3 km away, make for an outing to explore underground landscapes; Thouzon Castle and the Church of Sainte-Marie de Thouzon are also in the area. In Le Thor, the Clock Gate marks the entrance to the old town. Velleron Market is a chance to discover local produce and experience the lively atmosphere of a Provençal market. Avignon, 13 km away, is home to the Palace of the Popes and Pont Saint-Bénézet, two major landmarks of the region’s heritage. Le Thor railway station is 2.8 km away, and free parking is available on site for those travelling by car.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for visiting villages, exploring markets and walking in the countryside, with generally pleasant temperatures. In summer, plan outdoor outings for the morning or late afternoon, then enjoy the pool during the hottest part of the day. You could combine a visit to Thouzon Caves with a walk around Avignon, or follow country roads to the villages and landscapes of the Luberon. A car makes it easier to travel between sites, while trains serve Le Thor.
