The troglodyte dwellings of Rocher de Tuf are 630 m from the village and tell the story of Cotignac's connection with its cliff. Cascade de Cotignac offers a walk in a natural setting, while Cascade de Sillans, 4.6 km away, draws visitors to its waters and wooded paths. Abbaye du Thoronet, a major Cistercian monument in Provence, makes for an outing focused on architecture and history. A car makes it easier to explore the villages and natural sites scattered throughout the Var; Toulon-Hyères Airport is 46 km away.

In spring and autumn, the temperatures are well suited to hikes and visits to the villages.
