Carry-le-Rouet is a small seaside resort on the Côte Bleue, west of Marseille. The village is centred around its harbour and indented coastline, where beaches, rocky coves and coastal paths alternate. It has the feel of a Mediterranean community oriented towards the sea, with walks along the quayside and places to swim at various points along the coast. Plage du Rouet is 350 m from the villa; Plage du Cap Rousset is another option for enjoying the coast.

Calanque des Eaux Salées offers a rocky landscape typical of the Côte Bleue, and the coastal path is a way to explore the coast on foot. Observatoire du Parc Marin de la Côte Bleue offers an insight into the local marine environment. Carry-le-Rouet railway station, 1.2 km away, connects the town with other places in the region. To reach Marseille and its cultural attractions, you can continue by road towards the Vieux-Port and MuCEM. Marseille-Provence Airport is 11 km away and is the region’s main air gateway.

The warmer months are well suited to beach days, boat trips and late-afternoon walks, when the light changes over the coves. In spring and autumn, milder temperatures are ideal for walks along the coast and trips to Marseille.
