Chez Louis

For a day in the area, plan a morning by the water, followed by a walk around the port or nearby. In summer, set off early to enjoy the beaches before the busiest hours, and allow extra time for travel along the coast. In spring and September, temperatures are often well suited to walks and sightseeing without spending the whole day swimming. Trips to Sainte-Maxime or Fréjus let you combine heritage and seaside scenery; a car makes these journeys easier, while nearby beaches are within walking distance.
